Besunyen Holdings Company Limited, established in 2000, is a quality supplier of functional health tea in China,  mainly engaged in research and development, production, sales and promotion of functional health tea and medicines. In September 2010, Besunyen Holdings Company Limited was officially listed on the main Board of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong (stock code HK00926).

In recent years, Besunyen has produced  Moisturizing Tea and Youth Tea as well as functional health tea such as Slim Tea, Clearing Tea (collectively referred to four teas). Besunyen started to sell Orlistat Diet Capsules for weight loss from April 2015. It completed the acquisition of Zhongshan Wanhan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., and Zhongshan Wanyuan New Drug R&D Co., Ltd. in October 2017, collectively known as “Zhongshan Wanhan Wanyuan” , which focused on the research and development, production and sales of Besunyen Orlistat Diet Capsules for weight loss and other over-the-counter drugs, extending the company products from the weight loss health tea market to the OTC market, and further covering the weight loss market. Besunyen completed the acquisition of Henan Xueyinghua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. in April 2021, which focused on the production and sales of soft capsules, hard capsules and tablets and other dosage forms. The acquisition of Henan Xueyinghua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. promotes the development of Besunyen H in pharmaceutical R&D and production, and lays a good foundation for the overall layout and development in the pharmaceutical field.

In 2022, via 67 distributors and 96 resellers, Besunyen offline sales business covered nearly 400,000 OTC pharmacies and supermarkets in 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities across the country. The online sales team set up 122 stores on 35 e-commerce platforms to sell four kinds of tea, Orlistat and other products of the Group. The products were accessed to consumers through a variety of ways to better communicate with and serve consumers.

In the future, Besunyen will continously promote the development of the big health industry under the guideline of “one vertical and two horizontal”, focusing on herbs and health regimen, and extending new businesses in the weight loss, weight management, bowel relaxation and gastrointestinal health. It will continue to plan new channels, new products, new business forms, and strive to build the big health industrial ecosystem.
